Sheelagh Aston

Sheelagh has been writing since she could hold a pen.

Born in Devon and educated in Dorset and Yorkshire, she is a former Community Worker who worked for the London Chamber of Commerce in the East End of London, the YMCA and St John’s College, Durham, before becoming a vicar in 2005.

She lives in the northwest of England and has two grown-up children and a black Labrador who takes her for long walks in the countryside.

Her first novel, Natural Talent, a YA detective story located on a film set, was published by Big Paw Books in 2008. Her short stories have been published by ACW and Café Lit.

She is currently working on two trilogies: a transatlantic family saga and an Amish detective series.

Her novels weave together suspenseful plots while exploring how people find their inner worth and place in the world. When not writing novels, she freelances for radio, magazines, and anthologies for a wide range of genres.
