Lesley Cresswell

Born in Essex, Lesley Cresswell now lives in Suffolk. A former nurse, she moved into teaching and managing adult literacy and maths, passionate about enabling adults to fulfil their potential.

Lesley has two grown-up children and enjoys travelling, walking, and paddle boarding and has recently taken up horse riding.

Having written poetry since her teens, she loves writing about the realities of the world we live in. She is writing a novel and has completed a children’s story with a wrap-around concept of supporting adults to engage in the reading process with their young children – a reflection of her passion to enable people who may have struggled with their own learning to succeed and support their own children’s development in the process.
